Lethbridge Pride Fest Society acknowledges that we are gathered on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) people which includes the Piikuni, Kainai, Siksika, Tsuut’ina, and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, also known as the Treaty 7 region. This area is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Foothills District 1. We pay our respect to the Niitsitapi and Métis people, past, present, and future, while recognizing and respecting these cultural heritages, beliefs, and relationships to the land.
