Drag Out the Love: Prom for All

We may not have the Empress Theatre this year (renovations ), but that won’t rain on our parade.
On August 23rd, we’re taking over the Community Hall and throwing the queer prom we all deserve!

Pride Dance
Lethbridge Pride Fest and the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association are proud to present the 17th Annual Pride Dance!
After celebrating Pride in Galt Gardens with the Pride Parade and Pride In The Park, join us in the evening at the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association for the Pride Dance featuring the musical styling of local artist DJ Mac Baker, as well as drag performances by Beauty Quinn and Dayna Hart,
AND FROM CANADA’S DRAG RACE SEASON 5…

Pride is a Riot - Roller Derby Game
There are several games. First whistles are at:
1:00 -Level 1/2 (These are our beginner kids. Minimal contact. Usually children and preteens)
3:00 - Level 3 (These are our full contact teenagers playing. We have some kids from Team Canada Juniors who are playing. These kids will compete in the world cup in Australia this summer.)
5:00 - Adult Team (We have adults all different levels of play)
Free Event, donations accepted. Come on down, we'd love to have you!
Lethbridge Roller Derby Guild just celebrated its 15th year anniversary having been founded in 2010. Since then we have prioritized ourselves in creating an inclusive and safe environment for kids and adults. Derby has been a great place to create your own identity as you choose your name and you choose your number. We'd love to share our derby love with anyone who is curious about our sport and what we do. Come on out and cheer on our Windy City Wipeouts Junior Team and the Deathbridge City Rollers adult team as we take on Medicine Hat's "Gas City" teams!

Pride Parade
It wouldn’t be Pride without a Pride Parade?! Lethbridge Pride Fest is proud to kick off Pride with our 17th Annual Pride Parade!
The parade will begin at 11:00am and will head north on Stafford Drive S, taking a left on 3 Ave S, and a final right turn onto 5th St S to finish the parade and begin our day-log celebrations in Galt Gardens!
For those watching the parade, please make sure you are stationed on the side walk to keep yourself and others safe.
Want to participate in the parade? Follow the link below and fill out an application for your business/group to be added to the parade! But don’t wait! We need your application in by: June 13, 2025!

A look into The University of Winnipeg Two-Spirit Archives
In partnership with Lethbridge Pride - please join us for an engaging exploration of the UWinnipeg Two-Spirit Archives, a unique collection preserving the stories and history of the Two-Spirit community. | in-person at the Galt Museum, as well as a Zoom link shared to attend virtually | all ages | registration not required | no cost to attend | light refreshments provided
We are honored to have Brett Lougheed UWinnipeg Archivist offer a virtual presentation that will delve into the origins of the archives, the types of materials donated, how items are sourced, and the documentation and narratives that shape this invaluable resource. Joined by Connie Merasty (a donor to the Two-Spirit Archives and a long-serving member of the Two Spirit Archives Advisory Council) and Indigenous Engagement Librarian Danielle-Marie Bitz to share their perspectives on the archives' affective impact.
Hosted by the incomparable Marshall Vielle—artist, director, podcaster, drag diva, and Niitsitapi Two-Spirit icon—this event promises to be both informative and inspiring. Marshall will facilitate a lively in person and virtual Q&A session following the presentation, ensuring an interactive and engaging experience for all.
Let’s conclude the event in good company with refreshments and cake, celebrating connection and shared stories.

Join Tess McNaughton as they take you around historic downtown Lethbridge providing you with a new understanding of queer site history as you walk! Listen to stories of the people, places, and experiences that have provided a foundation for the queerness that exists in Lethbridge today. Water bottles and good walking shoes are recommended. No washrooms are accessible on the tour. Be prepared to walk approx. 1 km at a slow pace. Meet at the Galt Museum main north entrance.

Lethbridge Pride Fest and Coulee Climbing present Climb with Pride!
We want to gather the queer ones to climb together, and why not make it an excuse to look cute and get dolled up.
Hosted/coached by @Guts.Armstrong , this climbing session is open to all skill levels. The point is to have fun, try something new, and spend time with the queer folk that frequent the climbing gym.

Queer 101
Join us on June 14 at 1:00pm in the Community Meeting Room at the Main Branch for Queer 101. Learn basic inclusive terminology and understand the differences between sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Presented in partnership with Lethbridge Pride Fest Society and OUTreach Southern Alberta.

Lethbridge Block Party
Lethbridge Block Party is a celebration of the amazing talent we hold in this city. This all-ages event has something for everyone. The one day event will host some of Southern Alberta's tastiest food trucks, you can shop from over 50 small businesses in our marketplace (but don't forget to pop into your favourite brick and mortars) or visit our kids and community zone to learn about all the good things Lethbridge is doing or offering while mixing in a visit with a petting zoo or getting your face painted, then join us in the beer gardens for a local brew complete with live music from some local Lethbridge talent. This free event goes 12-10pm in Festival Square and the surrounding streets of Downtown Lethbridge! See you there, party people.
Lethbridge Pride Fest will be hosting an hour segment between 2:30 and 3:30pm, featuring drag performances from Brandi Jayne and Beauty Quinn.

Re:Fashion
Join guest artists Tyler Alexander and Grace Wirzba to make, mend, and alter your clothes for Pride using embroidery, patches, paint, and more. Visitors of all ages are invited to join us for this fun evening of fashion.
Supplies will be provided for this free drop-in workshop to make patches and other small sewn items. Visitors are welcome to bring their own clothing to alter. Refreshments will be provided. This event is presented in partnership with the Lethbridge Pride Festival Society.
