We are looking for active, outgoing and motivated individuals in Lethbridge's 2SLGBTQIA+ community to fill director positions at our next Annual General Meeting on August 28, 2022!
But first, a little bit about Lethbridge Pride Fest Society:
Lethbridge Pride Fest serves Southern Alberta’s and Lethbridge's 2SLBGTQIA+ community by planning and organizing a number of queer events that range from education to social gatherings and Pride Celebrations during the month of June, as well as a multitude of other things. As a growing board, we are looking to expand our events and other programming to help support our community year round.

Event planning/ hosting.
E-Commerce/ Online Store management.
Blog/ Newsletter management.
Community outreach, and
Being apart of a Board that strives to serve and uplift Southern Alberta and Lethbridge's diverse 2SLGBTQIA+ community through a variety of means.

What does it take to be on the Board of Lethbridge Pride Fest?
Being a board member takes quite a bit of commitment! As much fun as it seems, there is a lot of hard work that happens behind the scenes! Some expectations of our board, but are not limited to:
Must attend monthly board meetings (minimum 2 hours) and any other sub-committees that you sign up for, as well as miss no more than than three board meetings.
Must be an active member that is willing to assist the Board by attending functions of Society including fundraising events, pride events, as well as lending a helping hand when needed!
Must respect and uphold the diversity of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through Lethbridge Pride Fest Societies mission.
Help plan and organize events/ programming
.Be familiar with the organization’s bylaws, policies and procedures, strategic plan, mission, etc.
Respect confidentiality policies that pertain to membership and board discussions.
