Pride Film Festival: Flee

The Pride Film Festival returns for June 2022! Join us in the Theatre Gallery at the Main Branch for four nights of queer film - and popcorn! All films will begin at 6:00 PM and will be shown with closed captions.

June Film Schedule:

June 7 - Flee: Tells the extraordinary true story of a man, Amin, on the verge of marriage which compels him to reveal his hidden past for the first time. Animated documentary in Danish with English subtitles. (89 minutes, rated PG).

June 14 - Dating Amber: Two school friends decide to start a pretend straight relationship in an effort to fit in. (92 minutes, not rated).

June 21 - Wildhood: A rebellious two-spirit teenager runs away from home to find his birth mother and reclaim his Mi'kmaw heritage. (99 minutes, not rated).

June 28 - Shorts!: A selection of short films from a variety of perspectives. A full title list with summaries will be available shortly.
